Trading Systems Support Analyst (Python)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working opportunities are available; occasional travel to other locations, including outside EMEA, may be required.

What you will do

• Work closely with traders to understand their needs and provide level-one and level-two support for production systems.
• Manage widely deployed order management systems and market data delivery systems across electronic exchanges and asset classes.
• Enhance the Python support framework and contribute to its codebase.
• Design and implement support-system improvements focused on reliability and self-correction.
• Contribute to monitoring and report on system status and health using the monitoring stack.
• Act as the primary technical contact for brokers and exchanges and provide periodic after-hours coverage.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience working in a high-pressure environment, including diagnosing and resolving production issues in real time.
• Understanding of electronic trading and/or financial instruments, including equities, futures, and options.
• Strong Unix and Python skills, with experience using scheduling tools such as Airflow.
• Experience working with Grafana, networking, and system concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate ownership.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
