TL;DR

Location: Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada, or the surrounding area

Salary: CAD 31.00–45.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location

What you will do

  • Manage simple to moderately complex environmental project scopes, schedules, budgets, and delivery.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary internal teams and communicate with clients, regulators, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare technical correspondence, proposals, work plans, cost estimates, and subcontractor procurement materials.
  • Prepare regulatory and technical reports, including site assessments, environmental site assessments, remediation plans, and reclamation applications.
  • Support site assessment and remediation programs in the oil and gas industry.
  • Mentor junior and intermediate professionals and contribute to team development.

Requirements

  • Degree or technical diploma in environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, or engineering.
  • At least six years of environmental consulting experience, including at least two years of direct project management experience.
  • Eligibility for registration in, or current good standing with, a professional organization such as AIA, ASET, or APEGA.
  • Experience estimating costs, leading site assessment and remediation programs, and preparing technical reports such as ESAs, RMPs, and RAPs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, ownership, and mentoring skills.
  • Valid, clean Class 5 driver's licence with no restrictions.

Nice to have

  • Experience with the Alberta Energy Regulator's OneStop tool and provincial regulatory frameworks in Western Canada.
  • Experience with Workday.
