Transit PS&D; Project Manager

Location: Surrey, Canada; onsite at a company-designated office or field location. Travel and relocation according to project needs may be required.

Salary: CAD $100,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage the execution of transit substation and security barrier fence construction projects.
• Monitor project progress, completion status, customer relations, schedules, staffing, and crew requirements.
• Coordinate with management, estimators, and the Fleet Department on project planning, estimates, work methods, and resource utilization.
• Evaluate job sites and ensure inspection, safety, and construction standards are achieved.
• Manage union labor relations and train field personnel in technical skills and safety methods.
• Support contract development, new business opportunities, and project locations across assigned areas.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in electric energy substation and security barrier fence construction.
• 3–5 years of experience with project management methodology.
• Comprehensive knowledge of substation construction policies, procedures, and practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, planning, and project management skills.
• Ability to travel and relocate according to project needs and work effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Previous SkyTrain or LRT PS&D experience.
• Experience as a Journeyman Lineman.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related discipline.
