Failure Analysis Shift Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Newport, UK, United Kingdom. Onsite back-end night shift: 7pm–7am on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday. Full training is provided on the day shift, Monday to Friday.

What you will do

• Perform SEM cross-sections and imaging.
• Perform cross-sections using FIB.
• Analyze wafers and samples with EDX.
• De-process wafers using wet chemicals and plasma etching.
• Conduct optical inspections.
• Maintain the Failure Analysis and chemical laboratories.

Requirements

• Work effectively both in a team and independently.
• Be methodical, well organized, and able to multitask.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Be highly motivated and customer-service oriented.
• Have experience with Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a busy, fast-changing environment.
• BTEC qualification or HNC.
• Strong attention to detail.
