Business Analytics Lead (Customer Data Forensics)

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Tysons Corner, VA; or Washington, DC

Base salary: $91,000–$202,800 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Define and align enterprise customer data concepts, business glossaries, critical data elements, metadata, and data standards.
• Profile, monitor, and improve customer data quality through rules, thresholds, reconciliation checks, validation, and automation.
• Investigate recurring data anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation across business and technology partners.
• Partner with analytics and data science teams to develop analytically ready datasets, reusable customer features, and model-quality controls.
• Support segmentation, targeting, personalization, credit and marketing decisioning, experimentation, and KPI measurement.
• Define requirements for MDM, APIs, data lakes, warehouses, and trusted customer data products while mentoring junior analysts and data stewards.

Requirements

• University or college degree, typically a bachelor’s degree, and 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
• Experience with customer data domains, data quality management, governance, controls, audit readiness, and regulatory programs.
• Experience with MDM, customer identity resolution, probabilistic matching, householding, or related customer data solutions.
• SQL proficiency and experience with data lake or data warehouse environments.
• Ability to translate business needs into data requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
• Employment visa sponsorship is not provided, and STEM OPT participation is not available.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Collibra, Alation, Archer, GRC tools, data catalogs, and lineage platforms.
• Background in financial services data management or another highly regulated environment.
• Experience with feature engineering, cohort and segment analysis, model monitoring, champion/challenger testing, and experimentation.
