Aviation Mechanic II (V-22) (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft structures, landing gear, flight controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engine, APU, ventilation, and heating systems.
• Remove, inspect, repair, replace, and reinstall engines, hubs, gearboxes, and other airframe components.
• Service aircraft at the line station, perform jacking and towing, and maintain safe operating condition.
• Complete aircraft logbooks, maintenance documentation, work packages, and handovers accurately.
• Perform tool inventories, FOD walks, clean-as-you-go maintenance, and comply with DHS, DOD, and safety procedures.
• Perform V-22 Plane Captain duties and assist with training junior mechanics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least five years of aviation experience, including two years working with military standards and specifications.
• Maintenance experience on MV-22, CV-22, or CMV-22 aircraft.
• Previous V-22 APU operator, Bladefold/Wingstow, and Plane Captain qualifications; previous Collateral Duty Inspector qualification or Air Force 7-level qualification.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, technical manuals, specifications, safety rules, and maintenance procedures.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring and testing equipment, and Nalcomis/OOMA.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance and pass drug and background screening.
