What you will do

• Anchor and present evening newscasts and other news content across TV, internet, and mobile platforms.
• Produce news stories, write scripts, and determine story angles according to editorial standards.
• Gather and verify information through interviews, observation, and research.
• Review and edit video for quality, continuity, and accuracy.
• Deliver compelling live shots and stand-ups using creative graphics and digital and social media tools.
• Develop enterprise stories with management and build a network of community sources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
• At least three years of television anchoring or reporting experience.
• Bilingual Spanish-language communication skills required.
• Strong reporting, writing, reading, spelling, grammar, organizational, and storytelling skills.
• Solid vocal delivery, camera presence, and clear enunciation.
• Ability to operate newsroom computer systems and collaborate with station personnel.
