Producer/Director (Video Production)

What you will do

• Develop and produce promotional content for news, commercials, television, radio, digital channels, and local events.
• Write scripts and manage projects from concept through final delivery with minimal supervision.
• Operate professional cameras in studio and field environments, including lighting and audio equipment.
• Edit video and audio and create designs and motion graphics for multimedia content.
• Apply storytelling and conceptualization skills to maximize multimedia resources.
• Work with the Director of Operations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

• Two years of production experience across broadcast media, including video, audio, and graphics.
• Working knowledge of Avid editing systems and media management.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
• Proficiency with professional camcorders and DSLRs, field-production lighting, audio recording equipment, green-screen setups, and studio production environments.
• Proficient written and oral Spanish and English.
• Ability to drive, stand, walk, and sit for up to eight hours, lift 50 pounds, and work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in television production, communications, or digital media.
• Experience with iNews, VizRT, news-gathering tools, vCreative, Smartsheet, or similar workflow tools.
• Knowledge of 3D animation with Cinema 4D.
• Microsoft Office, PC, and Mac skills.
