Facilities/Plant/Maintenance Technician 2 (Manufacturing)

Location: Dover, New Hampshire, United States; onsite facility role. Applicants must qualify as U.S. Persons under applicable ITAR/EAR regulations.

What you will do

• Support a 35,000-square-foot facility through equipment installation, setup, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain compressed-air, electrical, emergency preparedness, safety, HVAC, plumbing, facilities, and grounds systems.
• Oversee outside contractors and maintain organized inventory of spare parts.
• Participate in the Safety Team.
• Support engineering and production teams with floor-layout changes, new equipment introductions, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Associate or technical degree in electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering or technology preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of related facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing preferred.
• Ability to work independently with strong computer, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to understand hazardous-waste regulations and interface with governmental agencies preferred.
• Ability to lift or move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds and perform work with required PPE.
