Regional Sales Manager (Grocery Sales)

Location: Remote-customer role associated with Madison, La Crosse, and Eau Claire, Wisconsin; travel is required for route coverage, meetings, food shows, tabletops, and other events.

Salary: $69,300–$101,585 per year.

What you will do

• Lead and supervise the retail team across an assigned geographic sales territory.
• Define, communicate, and execute sales-area goals, business plans, and strategic priorities.
• Optimize service schedules, territories, inventory availability, product assortment, and incremental selling opportunities.
• Coach, train, counsel, and evaluate employees while supporting staffing decisions and employee development.
• Manage sales growth, KPDs, contribution margins, budgets, and third-party labor for the assigned area.
• Build relationships with store management and vendor partners, collaborate across functions, and support route coverage and company events.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least five years of grocery-industry experience, including three years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience driving sales, creating profitable growth, and developing employees.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other computer software.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed, including out-of-town business, food shows, and tabletops.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
