What you will do

  • Support sustaining engineering across the Jetway product portfolio, including customization, maintainability, obsolescence, commissioning, and field-related needs.
  • Perform engineering analysis, calculations, design evaluation, testing, and hands-on troubleshooting of existing products.
  • Apply mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics and engineering analysis, to evaluate performance and develop technical solutions.
  • Use analytical methods and tools such as FEA, CFD, load calculations, and related engineering software.
  • Review engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, manuals, and exploded views to identify discrepancies and support corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, software, design, manufacturing, and commissioning teams to resolve technical issues and manage engineering updates.

Requirements

  • Accredited bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Internship experience or at least six months of related work experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience or exposure to troubleshooting, root cause analysis, testing, or resolving mechanical and multidisciplinary technical issues.
  • Ability to collaborate on engineering projects involving multiple technical disciplines.

Nice to have

  • Experience with FEA, CFD, load calculations, ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, or similar tools.
  • Coursework or project experience in thermodynamics, thermal analysis, or heat transfer.
  • Exposure to engineering standards, design guidelines, and industry-standard practices.
