Location: Hybrid role based at corporate offices in Chicago or Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois; Philadelphia or Kennett Square, Pennsylvania; Baltimore, Maryland; or Washington, DC. Extended hours, including 24x7 coverage, may be required during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Salary: $98,400–$135,300 per year, plus a 15% annual bonus for eligible positions.

What you will do
- Manage cross-functional IT projects and programs involving multiple disciplines, internal teams, and contract resources.
- Control project scope, schedules, budgets, performance, risks, and recovery plans for projects typically ranging from $250K to $15 million.
- Lead projects through business case development, funding approval, initiation, execution, and closeout according to IT management and PMI standards.
- Coordinate project reporting, financial analysis, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, procurement, engineering, environmental, and real estate activities.
- Prepare and implement change procedures for major projects and improve business processes within project scope.
- Collaborate with senior management, business customers, vendors, governmental agencies, regulatory officials, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, information systems, computer science, or a related discipline, plus 4–7 years of project management or related experience; alternatively, 6–9 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Advanced project planning, project cost and scope management, risk management, project tracking, reporting, and change control skills.
- Experience leading and managing medium-sized IT projects or sub-teams and applying project management principles and frameworks.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information in non-technical language and work independently in challenging project situations.
- CAPM certification is required, or CAPM must be achieved within two years of joining; PMP certification fulfills this requirement.
- Advanced to expert proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Loop, and Microsoft Project.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of cloud implementation, report migrations, and data analytics.
- Master’s degree in project management, information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related advanced technical field.
- PROSCI certification, ENP-PPM knowledge, and PFOT access credentials.
- Experience in utility, nuclear, commercial retail, finance, supply, HR, real-time systems, or other specialized functional areas.
