What you will do

• Operate master control to air programming and scheduled station breaks.
• Update and maintain signal control systems, select transmission sources, and monitor incoming and outgoing signal quality.
• Maintain programming and traffic logs and append them to the data management system.
• Segment, clip, trim, and modify content on the server.
• Report equipment problems, coordinate repairs, and make emergency repairs when necessary and possible.
• Ensure compliance with Emergency Alert System requirements.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Digital Electronics, Broadcasting, or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Fluent English and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• At least three years of experience with digital electronics systems in a television broadcasting environment, depending on market size.
• Experience with digital transmitters and other broadcast equipment.
• Strong PC and Microsoft Office experience, with proficiency in standard office equipment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
