Maintenance & Facilities Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Denby, Derbyshire, UK; regular remote work is available once a week for eligible employees

What you will do

• Develop and implement maintenance and facilities strategies across the Denby and Little Eaton sites.
• Drive planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance, asset care, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the use and enhancement of the SAP maintenance management system and embed data-driven decision-making.
• Own the maintenance and facilities budget, including maintenance, MRO, and utilities spend.
• Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team while building a high-performance culture.
• Manage contractors, capital investment projects, safety compliance, and sustainability initiatives supporting energy and effluent reduction and Net Zero goals.

Requirements

• Proven maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing, FMCG, process, or a related industrial environment.
• Relevant engineering qualification at HND level or above; a degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering is preferred.
• Experience leading maintenance teams, improving asset reliability, and managing maintenance budgets.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
• Domestic and international relocation support is not provided.
