Salary: $105,000–$145,000 per year

What you will do
- Develop, validate, and continuously improve tube fabrication processes, including CNC bending, end preparation, orbital welding, cleaning, and assembly.
- Create and maintain work instructions and process flows, and define custom tooling and fixtures.
- Provide hands-on technical support to shop-floor technicians and troubleshoot build issues in real time.
- Collaborate with design and integration engineers to make tube routing and assembly designs producible and scalable.
- Maintain aerospace process controls and lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for non-conformances.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- At least one year of manufacturing engineering experience; aerospace or high-precision manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Hands-on shop-floor experience and the ability to work directly with technicians and tooling.
- Working knowledge of GD&T, aerospace drawing standards, industry specifications, and technical process documentation.
- Applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain an export license under applicable U.S. export regulations, including ITAR and EAR.
Nice to have
- Two or more years of experience with tube bending, welding, or assembly.
- Experience with orbital welding, Swagelok, or Parker fittings.
- Welding engineering, welding development, or metallurgical experience.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
