Senior Environmental Engineer

What you will do

• Act as project engineer on remediation, compliance, and construction projects.
• Prepare and certify SPCC plans, stormwater SWPPPs, and NPDES/TPDES-related documents.
• Design, install, operate, and maintain remediation systems, including soil vapor extraction, bioventing, dual-phase extraction, total fluid recovery, and product skimming systems.
• Oversee construction and inspect liner systems, stormwater compliance, and field activities.
• Conduct site investigations, water sampling and monitoring, automated equipment use, and technical reporting.
• Support project management, business development, RFP/RFQ reviews, proposals, and statements of qualifications.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in environmental consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil or environmental engineering.
• Professional Engineer license in the State of Texas is required.
• Experience with environmental regulatory auditing, permitting, reporting, hazardous materials and waste management, due diligence, and industrial wastewater.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, plus strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Some travel, early starts, and occasional night or weekend work are required. A pre-employment substance abuse test and company physical exam are required for qualified applicants receiving an offer.
