TL;DR
Materials Coordinator, 2nd Shift (Warehouse Operations): Coordinating receiving, warehousing, and distribution of materials and equipment in a Roseville warehouse with an accent on team leadership, safety, quality, and Lean manufacturing. Focus on maintaining shift readiness, solving operational problems, tracking production metrics, and sustaining delivery, cost, housekeeping, and 5-S standards.

Location: Roseville, Minnesota, United States. Onsite, 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday, with weekend work as needed.

Salary: $24.00/hour plus a $0.75/hour second-shift differential. Pay may vary based on skills, experience, and achievements.

What you will do

  • Coordinate receiving, warehousing, and distribution of materials and equipment while maintaining warehouse cleanliness and security.
  • Lead safe and productive shift operations, including department setup, startup monitoring, employee coverage, and work assignments during line downtime.
  • Train team members and provide the tools, classes, and skills needed for efficient work.
  • Monitor order quality, production progress, delivery, cost, and other operational metrics.
  • Identify root causes, lead corrective actions, and implement Lean manufacturing and 5-S principles.
  • Address safety, ergonomic, performance, and housekeeping issues while recognizing strong performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of experience.
  • Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and the ability to lead team problem-solving efforts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, professionalism, and business ethics.
  • Ability to work to Takt time and interact effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to stand, walk, twist at the waist, and lift or lower up to 50 pounds; steel-toed footwear is required.
