HR Generalist

Location: Houston, Texas; onsite Monday–Friday with flexibility required for a multiple-shift operation. Travel of up to 25% may be required within and outside the state.

Salary: $73,000–$110,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop employee relations initiatives and coach employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
• Assess employee climate, support workplace investigations, resolve team member issues, and conduct exit interviews.
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition and management during recruitment and candidate selection.
• Identify training needs, analyze requirements, and recommend development programs for employees and managers.
• Maintain effective onboarding, job evaluation, compensation, and wage administration processes.
• Support employment compliance, work authorization audits, leave administration, accommodations, and workers’ compensation return-to-work processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of HR Generalist experience with knowledge of HR practices and employment regulations.
• Experience applying state employment laws to assess compliance issues.
• Experience building relationships across all organizational levels.
• Strong prioritization, organization, detail tracking, and deadline management skills across multiple projects.
• Availability for onsite Monday–Friday work in Houston and flexibility for a multiple-shift operation.

Nice to have

• PHR or SPHR certification.
