RN Resource Nurse (Fitch)

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States. Onsite role with a 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. shift and every other weekend.

What you will do

• Provide direct patient care while serving as the first-line clinical resource for Fitch Unit staff.
• Support and lead the nursing team in developing integrated approaches to care, including assuming a partial patient assignment.
• Advise medical staff on relevant clinical issues and collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Help ensure efficient unit operations during the assigned shift.
• Support cost control through economical use of personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Participate in professional committees, health system initiatives, education development, shared governance, and quality improvement.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; ASN required, with active enrollment in a BSN program and a signed BSN commitment form. BSN preferred.
• At least two years of current acute care experience, with proficient and in-depth nursing practice knowledge.
• Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse license or Compact Nursing License required.
• Current BLS life support authorization appropriate to the patient population.
• Specialty certification required within six months of eligibility.
