Senior Cybersecurity Engineer / DevSecOps Engineer (Cloud)

Salary: $92,000–$127,000 per year

What you will do

• Engineer, implement, and sustain cybersecurity controls for cloud systems, applications, user access, and DevSecOps environments.
• Implement and document DISA STIG/SRG requirements, secure configuration baselines, and configuration-control processes.
• Design vulnerability-scanning architecture, analyze ACAS and HBSS results, manage remediation tracking, and develop POA&Ms.
• Engineer SIEM, logging, alerting, audit, and security-monitoring capabilities and investigate security events.
• Integrate automated security checks into infrastructure-as-code, application build, CI/CD, and release pipelines.
• Develop secure architecture documentation and RMF artifacts while coordinating risk resolution with system owners, engineers, assessors, and Government stakeholders.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Security+ CE or higher required, such as CASP+ CE or CISSP.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of specialized cybersecurity engineering, NIST RMF, vulnerability management, or DevSecOps experience in Federal or DoD environments.
• Hands-on experience with ACAS, HBSS, eMASS, DISA STIGs/SRGs, vulnerability management, SIEM, centralized logging, access control, and cloud security architecture.
• Experience developing RMF and authorization artifacts, including the Body of Evidence, SSP, RAR, SAP inputs, and POA&Ms.

Nice to have

• CASP+ CE, CISSP, or a comparable advanced cybersecurity certification.
• Experience securing AWS GovCloud, Cloud One, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code environments.
• Experience with automated policy, code, dependency, container, infrastructure, and configuration security testing.
• Experience supporting DAF or AFOSI authorization packages and continuous-monitoring programs.
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
