Product Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote; listed locations include Brazil, Uruguay, and Mexico. Work from anywhere.

Salary: USD $85,000–$125,000 annual base

What you will do

• Own product initiatives from problem framing and technical approach through production rollout and post-launch metric review.
• Design architecture, data models, integrations, observability, rollout plans, and rollback strategies.
• Direct AI coding agents through prompts, guardrails, evaluations, tests, and review workflows.
• Partner daily with product managers and designers, collaborate with engineering peers, and align with the Engineering Manager.
• Own initiative outcomes and evaluate conversion, retention, funnel, or unit-economics metrics after launch.
• Maintain high standards for correctness, security, performance, observability, and customer and pro experience.

Requirements

• Production experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent on a daily basis.
• Experience operating at a lead-level scope, making technical decisions, shipping complex work, and owning results.
• Strong product-engineering skills with deep expertise in at least one of the listed technology stacks.
• Ability to design and document architecture, data-model, and rollout decisions with appropriate review.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and engineering peers in a shared codebase.
• Customer- and pro-focused approach to shipping measurable outcomes for a live marketplace.
