Fullstack Product Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City, hybrid; 4 days in-office at Herald Square and 1 day remote. One week per quarter may be worked from anywhere. Occasional travel for team off-sites and customer visits is expected.

Salary: $140,000–$175,000 per year, plus 0.4%–0.7% equity. Relocation available.

What you will do

• Ship large product features end to end, from design and implementation through database migrations and post-launch support.
• Build agentic AI systems that automate administrative work for schools and other after-school businesses.
• Make architecture decisions that support the platform's long-term growth.
• Work directly with customers through school visits, industry conferences, and support interactions to understand their problems.
• Own a broad, mission-critical area of the product as a founding engineer.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Comfort working across the stack with React, Next.js, Node, and Postgres.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to explain UI and product decisions.
• Creativity and comfort working with ambiguity and unstructured customer feedback.
• Genuine interest in helping education businesses thrive.
• Ability to work primarily from the New York City office, with 4 days on-site each week.
