Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote from the United States, France, Germany, Spain, or the Netherlands; European time zone required

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of core systems powering the AI platform.
• Build and evolve backend APIs, SDKs, dashboards, and developer tools.
• Integrate and optimize image and video models, while supporting audio and custom LLM modalities.
• Architect scalable inference orchestration and workload optimization systems.
• Improve platform performance, reliability, observability, deployment, and maintenance in collaboration with platform and infrastructure teams.
• Shape technical direction, mentor engineers through code and design reviews, and contribute to documentation and tooling.

Requirements

• Deep experience building distributed, high-performance systems and scalable backend services and APIs.
• Strong programming skills in PHP or Go.
• Understanding of asynchronous workloads, queues, and streaming data.
• Experience with cloud and bare-metal infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of system design, performance optimization, and scalability principles.
• Ability to lead technical projects, collaborate across teams, mentor engineers, and communicate clearly.
