Editor & Producer (Video Production)

hirify.global operates Univision local and network media operations serving audiences across the United States and Puerto Rico.

What you will do

• Edit and ingest video feeds for multiple local news operations and Univision Network News.
• Coordinate daily and breaking-news coverage with Assignment Managers, Executive Producers, and Producers across local stations.
• Work with Network News and ViX Noticias 24/7 to coordinate news coverage.
• Gather information about developing stories and respond to requests from local and network teams.
• Identify, edit, caption, and upload content to multiple digital platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Broadcast Journalism or Mass Communications.
• Fully bilingual Spanish and English proficiency, written and spoken, is required.
• Knowledge of iNews, video editing tools such as Avid, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut, and file-sharing systems.
• Familiarity with video and wire services, Microsoft Office, and other business applications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work onsite in Miami, with flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and natural disasters such as hurricanes. Employment and education verification and a background investigation are required.
