Duopoly Content Creator/Editor (NBC & Telemundo)

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 yearly

What you will do

• Edit and enhance promotional, image, POP, digital, social, and special-project content for WNBC and WNJU.
• Apply color correction, sound design, and motion graphics to improve content quality.
• Produce brand-consistent duopoly campaigns, extended cuts, alternate versions, web extras, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Assist with production shoots or act as lead camera when needed; support storyboarding, including AI-based storyboarding tools.
• Write, edit, and produce news topicals, Telemundo news promotion, and sales initiatives.
• Manage media assets, shared drives, storage, content organization, and producer handoffs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing and multi-platform content creation.
• Strong skills in color correction, sound design, motion graphics, professional editing tools, and production workflows.
• Video shooting experience, independently or as part of a production team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while collaborating across creative, news, marketing, and sales teams.
• Strong interest in and understanding of news and journalism.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Nice to have

• Experience producing promotional or image content for television and digital platforms.
• Graphics knowledge or experience supporting larger design projects.
• Ability to create compelling news teases.
• Familiarity with media asset management and shared storage systems.
