Data Analyst

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; in-office attendance required Tuesday and Wednesday.

Compensation: $94,000–$158,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Own analytics for assigned operational domains from requirements gathering through delivery.
• Define KPIs and metrics with stakeholders and build Tableau dashboards and SQL queries.
• Present findings to stakeholders and operational leaders, translating insights into recommendations.
• Identify analytics opportunities and support the adoption, maintenance, and data quality of dashboards.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, scope analytics initiatives, and communicate findings in business-friendly language.
• Partner on complex analytics questions and share standards, learnings, and best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of data analytics experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• Proficiency in SQL, including writing efficient queries against databases and data warehouses.
• Experience building dashboards from scratch with Tableau or a similar BI tool.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical problem-solving, storytelling, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work from Austin and attend the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
• Familiarity with HR or operations analytics.
• Exposure to data governance or compliance reporting.
• Experience leveraging AI to automate job functions.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership.
