Senior Fund Accountant, Private Markets (Yardi)

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada

Salary: CAD 72,000–105,600 per year

What you will do

• Prepare and maintain general ledgers and supporting schedules for real asset funds using Yardi.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS, US GAAP, and ASPE.
• Calculate capital calls, distributions, NAV, management fees, carried interest, and investor-level reporting.
• Coordinate property-level data, valuations, and performance metrics for fund-level consolidation.
• Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and investment transactions while supporting audits and tax processes.
• Improve Yardi-related workflows, communicate with clients and stakeholders, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in fund administration or audit.
• Experience with real asset structures such as property funds, REITs, SPVs, JVs, or co-investments.
• Experience with Yardi or other accounting software.
• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting designation preferred or in progress.
