Chemical Process Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and implement processes and systems for chemical manufacturing.
• Lead site-level technical development, including data evaluation, training materials, and work procedures.
• Execute manufacturing process and systems projects using project management techniques and coordinating internal and external resources.
• Maintain process documentation, including drawings, calculations, and design specifications.
• Monitor and optimize process capabilities, quality, cycle times, and costs.
• Troubleshoot plant-floor operations and lead long-term process improvement initiatives while supporting environmental, health, and safety programs.

Requirements

• Unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or chemical engineering preferred.
• At least 2 years of related experience, including 2 or more years leading process design efforts.
• Understanding of process equipment design, including pumps, polymerization reactors, pressure relief valve sizing, material balances, and instrument specifications.
• Experience with flammable or highly hazardous chemicals and strong safe-work practices; PSM/RMP knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects from inception through startup and communicate effectively across employee levels.
