Field Service Technician

Location: Field-based role covering Montréal, Trois-Rivières, Québec, the South Shore, and surrounding areas. Candidates must be located in the area or willing to self-relocate; relocation support is not available.

Starting pay: $60,200–$78,200 per year

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing and other commercial foodservice or laundry equipment.
• Complete training to develop technical service capabilities.
• Develop the assigned territory by selling jointly with distributor representatives.
• Provide service that supports customer retention and customer satisfaction.
• Travel to urban, rural, and expressway-based customer accounts for approximately 30% of the working day.
• Participate in alternating on-call coverage, including occasional weekends, holidays, and night calls.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a college diploma or higher education is an asset.
• Must be located in or willing to self-relocate to Montréal, Trois-Rivières, or the South Shore.
• Valid driver’s license, suitable vehicle, and legal authorization to operate the vehicle for business travel required.
• French and English required for verbal communication; English required in writing.
• Moderate working knowledge of tools and service needs, with proficiency in laptop and mobile technology, Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in extreme temperatures, and work overtime when required.
