Service Technician - Dental Equipment (Dental Equipment Repair): Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and installing on-site dental equipment across dentists’ offices with an accent on mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems. Focus on diagnosing complex equipment issues, coordinating parts and repairs, supporting emergency callouts, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
Location: London, Ontario, Canada; daily travel between dentists’ offices throughout the territory, with periodic overnight travel.
Salary: CAD 50,600–76,000 annual

What you will do
- Respond to customer service requests, investigate reported issues, complete work orders, and communicate with customers and internal teams.
- Diagnose, adjust, repair, and calibrate dental equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Document equipment issues and completed repairs, and arrange the required parts, tools, and supplies.
- Support new equipment installations, provide follow-up service, and verify proper operating specifications.
- Follow maintenance contracts and support the sale of maintenance agreements.
- Maintain vehicle inventory, report incidents and near misses, and follow safety and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of experience repairing equipment.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or plumbing systems.
- Certification, diploma, or degree in mechanical, electrical, small machine repair, or a related field is an asset.
- Dental equipment manufacturer certification training is a strong asset.
- Valid Canadian or equivalent driver’s license and a good driving record required.
- Availability for evening and weekend emergency callouts, daily field travel, periodic overnight travel, and lifting equipment up to 50 lbs. required.
