Assistant Club Manager Merchandising

Location: Falls Church, VA #0351, United States; regular, predictable, full attendance required

Salary: $69,500–$86,750 per year. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is also advertised.

What you will do

• Provide leadership and direction for merchandising and other assigned club departments in partnership with the Club Manager.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, certify, coach, and develop team members and future leaders.
• Plan labor and schedules based on business trends, sales patterns, operational needs, and budget targets.
• Drive sales, inventory accuracy, product availability, shrink control, and department profitability.
• Maintain GOLD, GAA, LAST, close-to-open, safety, sanitation, and operational readiness standards.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when assigned and lead club operations, member engagement, audits, and cross-functional support.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations manager.
• Experience leading and motivating large, cross-functional teams, managing performance, and communicating results.
• Knowledge of shrink control, staff development, merchandising, customer service, conflict resolution, and store operations.
• Basic knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, email, scheduling systems, reporting dashboards, and operational tools.
• Must obtain and maintain ServSafe food safety certification; forklift operation is required.
• Open shift availability, full attendance, and minimum age of 18 required. High school diploma or college degree preferred.
