Human Resources Generalist- 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Murfreesboro, Tennessee, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

What you will do

• Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and EEOC requirements.
• Maintain confidential employee records in HRIS and respond to questions about policies, benefits, and employment matters.
• Conduct and document workplace investigations, recommend corrective actions, and support employee-relations resolutions.
• Support recruiting, candidate screening, background checks, I-9 compliance, onboarding, orientations, reviews, and separations.
• Coordinate engagement, recognition, plant events, wellness activities, and employee involvement initiatives.
• Analyze HR metrics, support training programs, and improve HR processes, procedures, and service delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of HR experience in a manufacturing or related environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience or capability in employee relations, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and confidential documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.
• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports and presentations, and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work Sunday through Thursday from 8:30 PM to 6:00 AM.

Nice to have

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Manufacturing HR experience.
• Experience with staffing and HR compliance activities.
