District General Manager-Graded (Houston)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; up to 25% travel required.

What you will do

• Drive revenue growth and manage the district branch’s P&L, budgets, EBIT, gross margin, invoices, receivables, write-offs, and credits.
• Supervise department managers, superintendents, office employees, and field employees while directing training and performance management.
• Lead branch safety programs, audits, and safety committee activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry requirements.
• Manage sales growth, customer presentations, complex bids, pricing and margin approvals, CRM usage, and sales incentives.
• Oversee service-contract retention, at-risk accounts, customer-care programs, and relationships with clients, consultants, building owners, and managers.
• Coordinate with regional, corporate, accounting, HR, legal, labor relations, factory, and field teams, including union-related matters.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of the elevator industry and general management methods within the industry.
• Bachelor’s degree and proven success managing and developing talent.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and interpret technical, mathematical, and diagram-based instructions.
• General understanding of engineering and physics principles is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicles Report required.
• Based in Houston, Texas, with up to 25% travel required.
