Terminal Manager - Pinney Dock

Location: Ashtabula, Ohio, United States; onsite. Indoor and outdoor work is required, including in inclement weather, with 25% travel.

What you will do

• Oversee all bulk terminal operations, maintenance, service activities, and capital assets.
• Manage operations supervisors, maintenance, customer service, and operational staff.
• Forecast revenue, manage budgets, track KPIs, and coordinate with commercial and finance groups.
• Set operational goals and improve handling methods, equipment performance, product quality, and efficiency.
• Lead safety programs, regulatory compliance, employee development, hiring, performance management, and union negotiations.
• Develop customer relationships and support business growth with the commercial group.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–10 years of management experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience managing union and non-union workforces, operating procedures, regulatory requirements, and customer relations.
• Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations for bulk products, including SQE requirements.
• Project management, budgeting, financial, computer, and intermediate-to-advanced math skills.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and successful completion of a drug screen and background check, including a credit check upon offer.
