Engineer - Frontend (React)

Location: Lehi, Utah — hybrid, with in-office work Monday through Wednesday

What you will do

• Own frontend architecture governance and define standards for component architecture, state management, performance, testing, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Write production-grade React and TypeScript code as a hands-on individual contributor.
• Build frontend experiences for the current and next-generation platforms, including chat interfaces, streaming responses, intelligent workflows, and other AI-capable interactions.
• Integrate backend APIs and asynchronous, real-time, and streaming data into polished user experiences.
• Identify and resolve frontend performance, accessibility, reliability, deployment, observability, and release-quality issues.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, design, architecture, and engineering partners on technical direction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional frontend software development experience, including significant work at staff, principal, or similarly senior technical level.
• Deep production expertise with React and TypeScript in SaaS applications.
• Strong command of component architecture, design systems, frontend state management, maintainable UI patterns, and frontend testing.
• Experience delivering performant, accessible, production-grade web experiences and integrating backend APIs with asynchronous or streaming data.
• Production experience with AI- or LLM-powered product experiences.
• Experience mentoring engineers, influencing technical direction, communicating trade-offs, and working with ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• Design system or large-scale component-library ownership.
• Frontend performance tuning, observability, and release reliability experience.
• Experience with accessibility, privacy, or regional data compliance requirements.
• Background in high-growth SaaS, product rebuilds, or post-acquisition platform consolidation.
• Experience with GraphQL, modern build tooling, and advanced streaming or AI-assisted interface patterns.
