Sr Manager, Accounting (AI)

Salary: $129,910–$190,454 per year

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statement preparation and review under GAAP.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team.
• Partner with business leaders to analyze variances, identify trends, and present actionable financial insights.
• Streamline and automate accounting workflows using technology and AI-driven solutions.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, external audits, internal controls, tax compliance, and accounting policy documentation.
• Support M&A due diligence, system implementations, special projects, and complex accounting matters including revenue recognition, leases, and stock compensation.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in GAAP reporting, consolidations, and month-end close processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of public accounting, corporate accounting, or combined experience.
• At least 2 years of experience managing and developing a team.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement, coach team members, and connect financial data to business outcomes.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or progress toward certification.
• Experience with Workday, Power BI, or similar ERP and BI tools.
