Accounting Manager (AI)

Location: Alexandria, Minnesota, USA; onsite role. Employment eligibility in the United States is verified through E-Verify.

Base salary: $70,000–$100,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead month-end close, system roll-forward, journal entry, account reconciliation, balance sheet, and income statement review processes.
• Partner with shared services, finance, IT, operations, and leadership teams to standardize accounting processes and improve financial systems.
• Manage revenue recognition reviews, including project percentage-of-completion and nested intercompany calculations.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, leases, inventory, fixed assets, warranty costs, and after-shipment accounting.
• Lead audit requests, compliance reporting, and Governance, Risk and Compliance initiatives.
• Develop improvements for service-trip billing, revenue and cost capture, cycle counts, reporting, and financial data analysis using AI, Spotlight, and Tableau.

Requirements

• Five years of financial reporting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with fully integrated ERP systems.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, technical aptitude, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives using AI tools.
