Sales Operations Support Specialist I

Location: Sussex, Wisconsin, USA; onsite role with regular standing and walking, occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, and computer-based work.

What you will do

• Manage the full order lifecycle from receipt through fulfillment, shipment, startup, and post-delivery support.
• Validate, enter, and update orders in ERP systems, including changes, cancellations, and exceptions.
• Coordinate with production scheduling, logistics, supply chain, finance, vendors, customers, and dealers.
• Monitor lead times, configuration accuracy, material availability, and customer commitments; escalate risks and resolve delays.
• Prepare and review submittal packages, technical documentation, and product-related materials.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and support returns, warranty requests, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, sales support, or operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a basic understanding of order-processing environments.
• Strong attention to detail, process discipline, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent orders, interpret technical documentation, and escalate operational risks.
• Ability to meet the role’s onsite physical requirements, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or distributor-based environments.
• Familiarity with technical documentation or product specification sheets.
