Traveling General Superintendent (Foundations)

Location: Field - North Dakota; traveling 75–100% across the Midwest

What you will do

• Manage daily field operations, including labor scheduling, material coordination, crew mobilization, project reporting, and job closeout.
• Supervise foundation project superintendents, foremen, and field personnel while supporting training, performance management, and team productivity.
• Enforce company, OSHA, and applicable safety standards and lead safety initiatives across service groups.
• Inspect fieldwork and materials for quality compliance and review construction drawings and manufacturer documentation before work begins.
• Track project budgets, workforce schedules, production costs, change orders, and extra work orders.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, subcontractors, engineers, regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience as a construction Superintendent overseeing foundation work.
• Ability to obtain or maintain HAZWOPER, OSHA 10-Hour, OSHA 30-Hour, excavating safety, confined space, blueprint reading, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, iPad, and iPhone.
• Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, reports, policies, legal documents, and technical instructions.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and willingness to pass a drug test and background check.
• Willingness to travel 75–100% and work in active outdoor construction environments.

• Working knowledge of the HCSS Software Suite.
