Traveling Concrete Superintendent (Construction)

Location: Louisville, KY, US; willingness to travel is required.

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 annual

Construction and engineering organization delivering commercial and industrial concrete construction projects.

What you will do

• Direct daily concrete construction activities and lead foremen, crews, subcontractors, and equipment resources.
• Coordinate manpower allocation, work sequencing, project planning, scheduling, and schedule recovery.
• Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings while coordinating with project managers, owners, engineers, and general contractors.
• Develop work plans for major pours and critical operations across foundations, structural concrete, elevated decks, tilt-up construction, formwork, and related applications.
• Lead site safety meetings and inspections, enforce OSHA and company requirements, and address workplace hazards.
• Monitor workmanship, inspections, labor hours, production metrics, crew performance, and schedule objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial or industrial concrete construction experience.
• Experience as a Superintendent, General Foreman, Lead Foreman, or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of concrete construction methods and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and field coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Nice to have

• Data center project experience.
• Tilt-up construction experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience leading large concrete placements or fast-track construction projects.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills.
