Inside Producer - Individual Benefits

What you will do

• Drive new business sales in assigned program-specific industry verticals through phone-based prospecting and sales.
• Screen and qualify prospects, conduct fact-finding, prepare recommendations, and present insurance and financial solutions.
• Manage client relationships and support retention of at least 92% of business year over year.
• Develop cross-selling strategies, maintain lead-source lists, and execute an inside sales business plan.
• Use CRM and sales automation tools to document activity, support forecasting, and engage technical resources.
• Represent USI at meetings, seminars, trade shows, networking events, and regional or national vertical meetings.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of inside sales experience in a fast-paced environment with a record of sales success.
• High school diploma or graduate equivalent degree required; a college degree is preferred.
• Must hold or obtain Property & Casualty and/or appropriate business licensure.
• Experience with sales-cycle software or CRM systems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
