BIM/CAD Designer - Treatment (Revit/Civil 3D)

Location: Austin, Texas, with a hybrid schedule including up to 40% remote work

What you will do

• Prepare detailed BIM/CAD drawings and layouts for linear utilities, pump stations, treatment plants, and related infrastructure.
• Interpret project requirements, scope, and deliverables while providing conceptual input and identifying quality improvements.
• Perform engineering design tasks using fundamental engineering concepts with minimal direction.
• Coordinate with engineers, design teams, stakeholders, and other disciplines to support project execution.
• Perform BIM/CAD quality control, maintain drawing files, and apply company CAD standards and best practices.
• Support CAD users and managers, implement new technologies, and participate in hiring, training, and mentoring.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in engineering design and technical support using BIM/CAD software.
• Experience with Revit or Civil 3D, including alignments, pressure pipe networks, gravity pipe networks, surfaces, and data management.
• Ability to learn, adapt, solve problems, and produce accurate, high-quality deliverables.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in BIM/CAD or design/drafting technology.
• 3+ years of experience using Revit.
• Experience translating design and data files between GIS Shapefiles, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and Revit.
