Salesforce Development Engineer II (Salesforce)

Location: Arlington, Texas, United States; hybrid work with two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Architect and build scalable Salesforce and cloud-based applications for web, mobile, data marketplace, and API products.
• Provide technical direction, mentor developers, and promote learning and high-quality engineering practices.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, other internal teams, and external partners.
• Design and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security controls.
• Optimize performance, reliability, scalability, and data architecture while resolving production issues.
• Drive proof-of-concepts, cloud adoption, Agile improvements, and measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of software development experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Deep proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and Salesforce Lightning Design System.
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Automotive Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, OmniStudio, Flow, and Experience Cloud.
• Knowledge of Salesforce data architecture, security models, REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, External Services, and declarative configuration.
• Experience with Salesforce DX, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Salesforce Shield, SonarQube, Checkmarx, databases, and automated testing tools.
• Must be able to work in the Arlington hybrid arrangement; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field, or commensurate experience.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, bias, ethics, and data protection.
