Location: Oak Brook, Illinois, United States; hybrid

Salary: $76,600–$144,700 per year, plus benefits, 401(k) contribution, and eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support application functionality in the Salesforce environment.
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and application changes in collaboration with analysts and stakeholders.
• Develop Salesforce web applications and services using Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, REST, SOAP, and XML.
• Create software development lifecycle deliverables, including specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation.
• Unit test, debug, and resolve application defects and production issues while supporting end users.
• Optimize Salesforce Cloud workflows and processes to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Salesforce Developer Certification or equivalent Salesforce Developer experience.
• 3+ years of application development experience in a Salesforce environment.
• Experience with Lightning Web Components, Visual Workflows, Visualforce, Salesforce Data Loader, Apex, Salesforce Lightning, Experience Builder, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java.
• Intermediate Flow-building skills and strong systems analysis, troubleshooting, data analysis, and technical problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Agile development, requirements analysis, stakeholder collaboration, project estimation, and technical communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Boomi, SAP BTP, or other middleware and integration tools.
• Knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, phone system integrations, and federated search tools.
• Experience writing and grooming user stories, configuring single sign-on, and integrating applications.
• Additional Salesforce certifications, including Platform Developer II, Experience Cloud, Service Consultant, Manufacturing Cloud, or Platform App Builder.
