Director of Product Design (MedTech)

Location: Princeton, New Jersey, or New York City, United States; hybrid schedule with two days per week onsite.

Salary: $186,390–$243,600 base salary per year.

What you will do

• Define the design strategy for how customers discover, access, and remain engaged with hirify.global's Med offerings.
• Shape customer journeys that balance health goals, personal preferences, cost, and access.
• Build frameworks that enable new products to reach market faster while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Own the post-purchase experience, including logistics, clinical support, and long-term engagement.
• Extend service design across product interfaces, care teams, and external partners.
• Manage and develop a small design team while setting priorities across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strategic design leadership experience in complex, multi-surface product ecosystems.
• Strong service design experience spanning product, clinical, and partner touchpoints.
• Experience managing and developing designers and prioritizing work across multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to turn research and data signals into a clear design point of view.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for product, clinical, and executive audiences.
• Commitment to accessible, human-centered design and experience managing ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience in a regulated or highly complex industry where legal and compliance requirements influence design decisions.
