Staff Product Designer (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid, 4 days per week in the NYC office (Flatiron District)

Salary: $190,000–$250,000 per year in target base compensation at the commencement of employment.

What you will do

• Own the provider experience across therapists, group facilitators, and clinical operations, connecting products and user personas into one coherent system.
• Define and evolve the Provider Experience vision while aligning engineering, product, clinical, and operations leadership.
• Lead work end to end across discovery, problem definition, experience architecture, specifications, prototyping, and launch.
• Build production-quality experiences through an AI-native design pipeline, including prototyping, component management, and hardening.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research in a clinically regulated, operations-heavy environment.
• Create reusable patterns, tools, standards, and design practices while mentoring designers and raising the quality bar.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience for technology or software products.
• Experience owning ambiguous, multi-persona problem spaces and connecting experiences across products and surfaces.
• Experience delivering 0-to-1 experiences, shaping organizational decisions, and designing scalable experience architectures.
• Fluency with AI tools across research, prototyping, and production, with experience shipping working prototypes or code.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research, communication, storytelling, and stakeholder alignment skills.
• Ability to work 4 days per week in the NYC office.

Nice to have

• Experience designing healthcare products, EHRs, or multi-sided platforms.
• Front-end development skills with React and TypeScript, or close collaboration with design technologists.
