Construction Project Manager - Transmission Line - Michels Power, Inc.

Location: Pembroke, NH; South Windsor, CT; St. Albans, WV; Uniontown, OH. Travel is required, including long-term onsite project assignments.

What you will do

• Lead transmission line projects from proposal and bidding through execution and closeout.
• Define project scope, schedules, staffing, resources, and work plans.
• Manage safety, cost control, schedule performance, risks, compliance, and project results.
• Coordinate construction activities with field leadership, subcontractors, clients, and project partners.
• Manage contractual changes, issue resolution, reports, RFP responses, and estimating support.
• Present project status and performance updates to leadership, clients, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7+ years of project management experience, preferably in transmission line, utility, or heavy civil construction.
• Experience managing multiple projects or phases simultaneously, with strong contract, scheduling, cost-control, and risk-management knowledge.
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera, HCSS, or similar, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and willingness to travel for long-term project assignments.
