Senior Operations Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Beaver Dam facility, onsite Monday through Friday; candidates should live in the surrounding area or be open to relocating to the area.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop the operations engineering team while managing performance and staffing needs.
• Drive facility operations priorities, KPI achievement, SMART goals, customer expectations, and employee development.
• Lead continuous process improvement initiatives through policies, procedures, and process documentation.
• Improve the flow and synchronization of products, materials, and information to maximize efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Deploy demand-driven strategies and enterprise standards to support operational excellence and long-range plans.
• Establish practices and initiatives that promote a safe and healthy manufacturing work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Industrial Technology.
• 10 years of engineering experience in an operations or manufacturing environment.
• 5 years of progressive engineering leadership experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to define resource needs and deliver objectives within budget and staffing parameters.
• Ability to organize priorities, anticipate problems, make effective decisions, and develop creative solutions.
• Ability to act as an SAP Super User within the assigned functional area.

• Understanding and application of lean manufacturing principles and financial measurements.
• Strong project leadership, communication, and cross-functional influence skills.
• Experience collaborating across multiple sites and functions.
• Experience with high-mix, low-volume and high-volume, low-mix production environments.
• Experience managing shifting deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
