Senior Product Manager (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must work within Pacific through Eastern time zones and travel quarterly to Southern California.

Salary: $129,300–$172,300 annually.

What you will do

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a high-priority Sequoia initiative.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Underwriting, Data Science, and Design to define product direction and solve complex business problems.
• Create PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for engineering teams.
• Guide implementation by resolving questions, refining requirements, managing edge cases, and making product tradeoffs.
• Partner with AI engineers and data scientists on truth data, evaluation frameworks, experimentation, and iterative quality improvement.
• Communicate strategy, progress, decisions, and outcomes while coordinating dependencies and removing blockers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software or technology product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated impact.
• Experience translating ambiguous business problems into actionable product requirements.
• Experience with PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product development from discovery through post-launch improvement.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative data fluency, including opportunity identification, impact estimation, prioritization, and outcome measurement.
• Experience with AI product development practices, including truth data, evaluations, experimentation, and quality improvement.
• Strong communication, stakeholder influence, curiosity, and ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Nice to have

• Experience developing AI-enabled or machine learning products, including LLM-based applications or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Experience in title production, mortgage, real estate, insurance, fintech, or another regulated and operationally complex domain.
• Experience scaling enterprise software across products, markets, geographies, or business units.
