Senior DevOps Engineer, Applications (Azure)

Salary: $131,250–$175,000 annually

What you will do

• Own and evolve Azure infrastructure with Terraform, including networking, compute, managed services, and secrets.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and Helm deployments for distributed microservices.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Define observability through metrics, logging, alerting, and tracing across services.
• Lead incident response, write postmortems, and implement reliability improvements.
• Manage PostgreSQL infrastructure, developer tooling, deployment workflows, and security controls.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, including AKS, Azure AD, managed databases, blob storage, and networking.
• Production experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and container image management.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Operational PostgreSQL experience covering migrations, backups, replication, failover, and performance tuning.
• Experience with observability, incident response, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.

Nice to have

• Experience with Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Azure Key Vault, or Vault.
• Experience supporting migrations from legacy platforms to modern cloud-native systems.
